I have been asked this question and I have asked myself this question a million times. the answer is simple I love to write. I developed the love of writing inĀ Mr. Loyd’s 3rd grade class. He was and still is an awesome man who inspires people young and old. Anyway He was the first teacher to introduce me to creative writing, and even though I’m 32 now I am still an avid writer and it’s because of 3rd grade.
As most of you know I have hosted a few blogs in my day but i always was changing the formats to please others then I wound up just not wanting to write so I killed the old blogs and just didn’t write. After a long break I am back to write only when I have something to share. I want to focus on the quality of what I write and thus giving me the freshness to do other cool projects.
I will write about any topic and I will not hold back. The beauty of writing for me is it is a pure honest way of expressing myself. Please don’t take that last comment as an angry one, because I am in the best spiritual, mental, and physical shape i have ever been in and I am happy as can be. I have started to read other blogs more and have really come to have a deeper love of people. If you stop by my site often please check out my blog rack, I assure you the people I will link to are awesome and influence me in major ways.
Well that’s all I have for today coming soon will be an entry called ReBirth.
Until then….
Jimmy, those kind words are the kindest gift a teacher can ever receive. I would like to give you a copy of my book, “Mystery at the Loyd Homeplace” that I’ve been sharing with fourth graders at SFL and have blogging about. Let me know what would be a convenient way to get the book to you. I live near the Lowe’s grocery you used to work at. I’m going to be a strong supporter of your blog.
Hi Jimmy,
I just started blogging last month with a blog that expressed my frustration with blogging…how funny is that’s
Thought I would check out your blog as I am following you on Twitter. I like the fact that you like blogging and I hope to learn some things from you as well as others that I plan to follow. But I must be honest with you. I only thought about blogging because I heard of ways to make money doing so. I am looking hard to start my own internet marketing business.
If you are interested in something like this, you might want to check out http://www.christianinternetincome.com. This guy Jim Paris loves the Lord and loves to help the Lord’s people to supplement their income by using the internet to do so.
You never know, it could be something that you find usable.
Let me know what you think.
It’s not a straight-forward question for me – Here are my thoughts on why I blog:
